RAIL

Transporting consignments by rail is a cost-efficient, greener, safer and timely method of transporting goods than using road transport. With over 10,000 miles of rail network available to Amco Services, we can harness National Rail and the 1000 freight trains that run daily. 110 million tonnes of freight is moved every year, not all consignments are full load and not all are a full journey but there are plenty of benefits in using rail freight predominately in the Automotive, Construction and FMCG Industries.

TOOLING AND OUT OF GAUGE

In addition, Amco services offer Tooling and out of Gauge movements where the cargo to be shipped is non containerised and larger or will not fit in any standard container. We can arrange for your cargo to be collected from any 3rd party location or factory and onto the agreed seaport or airport for shipping. We can advise and assist with packaging and lashing and where tools are concerned we can supply bespoke cradles and transport frames.

FCL, Groupage or LCL  – whatever the shipment, we can provide effective global sea freight services supported by our partners worldwide.
